Incident Command System (ICS): San Francisco & San Mateo County Focus
Join the Bay Area Urban Areas Security Initiative for a 2-hour training webinar to discuss the major components of the Incident Command System (ICS), and the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS).
Participants will:
Learn the basic principles and history of ICS.
Learn basic emergency management language to be able to better coordinate with other disaster response and recovery partners.
Be introduced to concepts of the SEMS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
Participate in a brief ICS exercise.
